Final Book

Just in time for the show today my book arrived! It looks great, Blurb is fantastic at publishing. Now just waiting for my posters from FedEx Office to go set up!

Postcard backs and design problems

So I had a really unfortunate error in getting my book published, and it will not be completed on time for my final showing. In the meantime I've decided to get a softcover book printed at Kinko's, as well as do a series of posters to present. I have also been working on some postcards to show too over the last week or show but haven't presented any of it in class yet. Here are a couple of the backs.




I am also putting together a website that goes through each set of pictures via flickr, but am still working on the coding.

Design finished

I finished up my design layout this week through Blurb's template and sent out the template for publishing, should be done early next week.

Designing layouts

This week I worked on starting designing the layout but mostly just organizing the book so the pictures would work fluidly together and coincide with the East and West sides. I made my mock layouts up in iPhoto just because it makes it easy to organize and outline my ideas.
